Jericho and MJF Sing “Me and My Shadow”
2020 was a challenging year for wrestling, which thrives on the energy of a live crowd. So creatively, the industry was scrambling to deliver new ways to entertain.
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) made a giant swing on the October 21st episode of Dynamite. For some it was a home run, for others it was a swing and a miss.
In a segment dubbed “Le Dinner Debonair,” young upstart MJF continues his struggle to get into the Inner Circle, a group led by AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.
They sit down for a steak dinner together. They bicker hilariously over their orders and debate the merits of MJF joining the group.
But then, something happens. Something so strange it has divided fans ever since.
They began a Broadway-esque song and dance routine to the classic “Me and My Shadow.”
It’s funny, weird, and brilliant for a set of the fans. But you’ll just have to watch the clip and see for yourself.
