Math Class With Scott Steiner

Scott Steiner made his name with a fantastic body and excellent skills in the ring. As the years went by, he got bigger and bigger muscles and worse and worse at putting on a match. And he became one of the most divisive talents on the microphone.

See, when Steiner talks, some people love it and others hate it. But no one can say it’s average (because he’s not expected).

And in Total Nonstop Action (TNA), Steiner gave what’s become his most memorable promo. Thanks to its testosterone-riddled absurdity, it became an enormous meme in the online wrestling community.

The backstory to the promo is simple: Steiner was set to face Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle in a three-way match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Three wrestlers in a ring gives each competitor bad odds already. But Steiner broke down just how bad those odds would be for Samoa Joe, using a form of mathematics not yet discovered by our leading minds.

The two-minute segment contains some of the most elaborate trash talking ever devised, earning it a special place in wrestling history.
