It seems counterintuitive, as many people go to college to study for their dream careers. If you are not one of those people, do not panic. 

You would be surprised to know how many people end up working in a field completely unrelated to their major. Studying psychology does not mean you have to commit to being a psychologist for the rest of your life. You have the option to change your major if you find something else you love. You also have the option to apply to jobs unrelated to your major once you graduate. Many employers provide all the training you need. They do not always care what degree you have, as long as you have one.
