Unlike high school, nobody is taking attendance. In fact, most professors could not care less whether or not you attend their lectures. This makes it very tempting to skip classes, especially if they are early.
But, if you show up and actively listen, you’ll learn faster. During your study time, you’ll be reviewing instead of learning the material for the first time. Also, most teachers like to give hints to the students in attendance about what is high yield for quizzes and exams. You’ll miss out on this crucial information if you do not show up.
