When someone asked Kate Mara via Twitter if she was taller than 5’6″, the American actress acknowledged that she was being given an inch too tall, and admitted that she’s only 5’7″. “I’m definitely a proud member of the short club,” she quipped.
Mara’s case is different from the previous ones. The actress claims that as a child she prayed not to grow, because she wanted to get a role on Broadway that required her to be short. “My mother blames my 5’5″ height on my passion for being on Broadway,” she confesses.
