When it revealed the concept for the 2022 Tonale, Alfa Romeo said that the vehicle would launch sometime before the final quarter of 2022. The release date for this new vehicle is early 2022, meaning that, technically, this is a 2023 model.

The Tonale comes with a lot of highlights, including an eAWD system, which uses an electric motor to drive power to the rear wheels. This system is the same one in a Jeep Renegade. Combined with the Tonale’s 1.3-liter gas engine, the entire package gets 240 horsepower. The all-new Tonale will inject Italian manufacturing into the world of subcompact luxury crossovers.
