The i3 has been around since 2013, and production for the car ceased in America in July of 2021, but it will continue elsewhere for another year. The i3 gave BMW a quick entry into the electric vehicle game, but it struggled when it came to sales.

Instead, we’ll get a new 3-series vehicle from BMW. The prototype was first spotted in November of 2020, and it is expected to go on sale either in early 2022 or late 2021. It will likely be similar to its predecessor, which had a range of 200 miles (126-153, battery only) and cost $44,450.
