In 2012, former partners, Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld had their cannabis courier-themed web series, “High Maintenance”, picked up by Vimeo, which offered to pay to have subsequent webisodes of the show produced. Considering the cult-following that the show was beginning to gain, at a cost of $1,000 per episode Vimeo got themselves quite the deal.

After 10 seasons of production, the last 4 of which were picked up and televised by HBO, Sinclair and Blichfeld decided to focus on individual projects instead of attempting to continue maintaining the high-quality comedy they have until now, managed to deliver.
