NBC, like any other network, is out to give its viewers what they want, and seeing as how almost 3 million people (on average) watched each episode of “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’s” first season, NBC execs thought it would be a good idea to renew the show for a second season.

Although fans of Zoey and her playlist were, probably, thrilled to see that there would be a second season, the ratings have proved that renewing the show might have been a mistake. A mistake that NBC has remedied by stopping the series’ production.
