Baroness Von Sketch Show was named the “funniest thing” to hit Canadian television since the sitcom Kids in the Hall. The show was an award-winning comedy series that featured Meredith MacNeill and Carolyn Tay. It was brought to the States, courtesy of the network IFC.

Baroness ran for five seasons before it was canceled. The show’s statement, which announced its end after five seasons, said that the sketch members were “grateful” to have shared their “deepest embarrassments,” “daily observations,” and “existential angst” with their fans. There is no doubt that the Baroness Von Sketch Show will be missed.
