The show features fishing competitions set in treacherous locations, where professional fishermen compete for cash prizes. There is explosive drama, and you wouldn’t expect fishermen to have the same amount of pettiness as Basketball Wives, but they do.

The National Geographic Channel has yet to announce whether they will renew Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks for another season. The Outer Banks segment of the show sends fishermen to the unpredictable North Carolina region, where weather conditions are prone to violent change at any moment.
