NBC’s late-late night programming, A Little Late with Lilly Singh, was canceled after two seasons. The former YouTube star’s show wasn’t high enough in the ratings (something that might have been related to the fact that it had a 1:30AM time slot) to continue.

Singh isn’t slowing down, however. She signed a contract with Universal Alternative TV Studio to help work with unscripted projects, and, reportedly, Singh is excited to move. Universal Alternative is Universal’s unscripted division, and it runs parallel to the regular, scripted studio. Singh considers it a promotion, so maybe her show getting canceled is a win after all.
