Head of the Class received a failing grade from HBO after its premiere season. The sitcom reboot flunked out (last pun, we promise), getting the classic “not moving forward” statement that HBO makes after it cancels a show.

There is no season two for Head of the Class, likely because of ratings. HBO said that it was “grateful to work” with producers on the “iconic series” and its reboot. Head of the Class was a reboot of an 1980s sitcom on ABC. The original, which was created by Michael Elias and Rich Eustis, ran from 1986 until 1991.
