Created and written by Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K., and starring Aldon herself, Better Things got off to a fantastic start when it first hit the air in 2015. The start was so good, in fact, that less than 2 weeks after it had premiered, the duo’s series, that is, loosely, based on Adlon’s life, was renewed by FX for a second season.

Three additional seasons and a handful of writers later, on the last day of February 2022, Better Things is set to premiere its fifth and final season, ending more than half of a decade on air for the American comedy-drama.
