HBO was, actually, the intended network that Claws was first ordered for, but in the film and television industry rarely do scripts stick with the companies that gave them the go-ahead. When all the dust was settled, it was TNT that presented the comedy-drama to audiences. And, once there, the show’s creators did their part to keep those audiences entertained foremost half of a decade.

Following a brief hiatus, that resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic halting production, in the spring of 2020, the final season of Claws completed filming in the fall of that year and premiered before Christmas this year, on December 17th, 2021. Claws, the series that Eliot Laurence created, has definitely left its ‘mark’ on its fanbase.
