Narcos: Mexico was, originally, intended to be the fourth season of the hit show, and its parent series, Narcos. After further deliberation, however, Netflix made the decision to turn it into a spin-off instead – and it’s a good thing it did.

Now, in its third season, the Mexican branch of the Narcos franchise has done better than most people had expected, and it seems as though Netflix made the right call. However, following the current season, the Narcos will be leaving Mexico, and viewers will have to wait to see when, or where, they’ll show up next.
