So many horror movies are terribly done, but that’s not the case with 1995’s Seven. Starring Brad Pitt as a detective trying to hunt down the killer plaguing the streets, the movie was both clever and gruesome. The climax comes when Detective Mills opens a package containing his pregnant wife’s (Gwyneth Paltrow) head.

A replica of Paltrow’s head was made for the movie but ultimately wasn’t used in the scene as Brad thought the implication would come across better. So, Gwynnie’s head was shut away in a prop storage locker for years, only to see the light of day in 2011 when Steven Soderbergh used it for Contagion.
