The same gold coins (we doubt they’re solid gold, of course) used in The Goonies were also used in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Hook. Really, they don’t even have to bother with actual coins at all, as milk bottle tops painted a shiny gold would probably suffice for audiences.
