It’s hard to find a period piece out there that doesn’t feature a ton of bustier dresses. These intricate, expensive costumes likely cost anywhere from $1,000 to $1,500. Ballgowns have often been reused rather than trashed. Not only does recycling save money, but it would also be a shame to toss such a beautiful outfit away.

This bustier dress was first worn by Michelle Pfeiffer in Dangerous Liaisons. After being used in the romantic drama, it was stored for a couple of decades until it was brought back out for Hocus Pocus. Vanessa Shaw wore the dress as a Halloween costume in the Disney comedy, where a few brave kids had to fight off a trio of evil witches.
