55. Power Rangers: The Last Galaxy Armor

The 1999 movie Power Rangers: The Lost Galaxy had some pretty cool, if somewhat nondescript, armor to it. The black and gray chest guards weren’t the only film that used the armor, as Starship Troopers’ soldiers wore the breastplates two years before in their movie.

Then, a few years later, Firefly actors wore the armor. The armor was seen in the 2002 film’s “The Train Job” scene, and the helmets that the soldiers wore in Firefly were the same as the Power Rangers’ and Starship Troopers’ gear. Studio execs ordered thousands of copies of the armor for Starship, so there was a lot on-hand for later films.
