Die Hard has, well, a diehard fan base. Nakatomi Plaza was the main location of the blockbuster hit, and, as a result, it became one of the action genre’s most well-known, easy-to-spot locations. So, fans had no trouble recognizing it when it reappeared in the opening of the movie Speed, another action thriller.

The SWAT team in Speed sweeps the same lobby that its predecessor features quite prominently. Nakatomi Plaza is interesting because, not only is it a movie set, it is the real-life headquarters of the corporate wing of 20th Century Fox.
