Damnation Alley was yet another seventies-era sci-fi, dystopian flick that reused props from another film. In the movie, Earth had been knocked off its axis because of World War II. As a result, it was in meteorological chaos, and Damnation Alley featured a group of survivors trying to cross through the desert without being killed by freak storms and gigantic killer insects.

The 1977 movie reused a missile base destruction sequence from the 1965 movie Operation Crossbow, which was a WWII film. Both Damnation Alley and Operation Crossbow starred George Peppard, though the missile-destruction sequence footage that was reused wasn’t obvious to fans of both movies.
