This one is yet another example of a scene being recycled from two very similar projects. The movie Hitman was about a trained killer who is betrayed by his employers and has to go on the run. The show Dark Angel was also about assassins, though the ones in this early 2000s TV show were genetically-engineered.

Footage from the opening credits of Hitman was lifted from Dark Angel. Though Hitman starred Timothy Olyphant in the lead role, Dark Angel was part of a wave of shows, including Xena: Warrior Princess and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, that featured strong female leads.
