60. Save Your Garage With A Tennis Ball
Items Needed: Tennis ball, cord, hanging gear
Est. Price: $10*
Parking isn’t the easiest for some people, even when you’re in the garage. Your home garage can be as tough as a pair of white lines in the parking lot, as far as spatial skills go. If you’re a struggle-parker, hang an old tennis ball in your garage to prevent damage.
You’ll need to drill a hole through the tennis ball and have a way to hang it from the garage ceiling. Hang the tennis ball directly above where you want your back windshield to be when you park. The next time you pull in, stop when you feel the tennis ball hit the back windshield. When you hear the “thud,” you’ll know you’ve gone far enough into the garage.
