With health being of the utmost importance, and the human desire to not be left in the dark when it comes to the issue of our own health, as of late, wearable medical devices have been the focus of many medical tech companies.

One such company, Dexcom, has developed a FitBit-style continuous glucose monitor (CGMs) that feeds diabetics information, in real-time, about the current state of their blood sugar levels, and alerts users, immediately, if those levels have raised too high. Thanks to these monitors, testing glucose levels throughout the day will soon become a thing of the past for diabetics.
