Suicide Squad and The Suicide Squad: No one’s eyes are deceiving them here. Suicide Squad came out in 2016 and featured big names such as Margot Robbie and Will Smith. Did that movie need a sequel? It does not matter if viewers thought so or not. Hollywood could not answer that either, so they gave viewers another version of it that may or may not have been a sequel. The lazy sacks churning out movies themselves were unsure if this movie was a sequel, so they decided not to name it Suicide Squad 2. Oh no. Instead, they called the second installation of this movie The Suicide Squad. So now viewers have Suicide Squad and THE Suicide Squad. Anyone not convinced that Hollywood has gone creatively bankrupt should now start seeing a trend.
