The Sichuan-Tibet Highway is located in one of the most remote parts of the world, which brings with it its own set of challenges, including issues reaching out for help if something happens while on the road. There’s no denying the trek is beautiful, as there are majestic rivers, misty mountain peaks, and other majestic natural views.

The Northern and Southern Route are the two components of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. The Southern Route’s landscape is ever-changing, and though you do travel in a straight line, parts of the Southern Route are damaged and dilapidated. The Northern Route is in better condition, but it is longer and has more twists and turns.
