67. Ørnevegen, Norway

Constructed: Unknown
Risk Factor: Steep, long stretches of inclines/declines, hairpin turns

Ornevegen is a steep stretch of road that travels up a Norwegian mountain, offering picturesque fjord views. You also get to see steep hillsides and a beautiful waterfall that looks like something out of a fairytale. Also known as the Eagle Road, Ornevegen is not without its challenges.

Ornevegen has eleven hairpin turns that can startle drivers who are making their way up the steep incline. TripAdvisor travelers gave Ornevegen 4.5/5 stars, but they cautioned against traveling too quickly. If the weather is bad, you’re better off just waiting until a clear day (you can better see the sights that way, too).
