This beautiful scenic route was launched as recently as 2014 by the Irish minister of tourism. It encompasses the west coast of Ireland, stretching from the north to the south of the island country. It is 2,500 kilometers long, which is about 1,500 miles.

While the landscape is stunnningly beautiful, it’s not without its twists and turns that pose hazards for travelers. And like many tourist routes, this road has the added danger of being heavily occupied by people who don’t know where they’re going, and are easily distracted by the views.
