Amy Adams donned a Valentino red dress and cape that came straight from the designer’s Couture collection, which it presented in Shanghai in 2013. However, surprisingly, it wasn’t the Valentino gown that caught everyone’s attention at the 2014 Golden Globes—it was the jewelry that the American Hustle star wore.

Adams wore $8 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds to the ceremony. The jewelry suite, which had rubies as well as diamonds in it, clocked in at seventy carats (fun fact: that’s even more carats than the Hope Diamond). The heaviest stone of the set was Adams’ Asscher-cut, 30-carat pendant, which was suspended on an 18-karat gold chain.
