The 2021 Met Gala was all about classic American fashion, and Bulgari jewels have been seen on red carpets since Hollywood was invented. You can’t get much more classic than Bulgari, and singer-actress-business-tycoon Rihanna wore an insane amount of these jewels to the ceremony.

The superstar wore 267 carats of diamonds to the Met Gala, and her suite was composed of Bulgaria archival and High Jewelry diamonds. Rihanna wore a Bulgari Heritage necklace, alone with a single earring and two bracelets to complete her look. She also donned a ring by Thelma West, whose work was highlighted at the Brilliant and Black show from Sotheby’s, an event dedicated to honoring Black jewelry designers.
