The Nest on Wonderland is a set of upscale apartment buildings in southwest London, Ontario, and rentals there start at $1,645 a month. However, it seems like the apartment complex owners might find renters in short supply, as a partial building collapse took place in December of 2020, killing two workers and injuring five more.

It was one of the area’s deadliest workplace disasters in recent memory. The Nest’s owners hired forensic investigators to discover the cause of the collapse, and the investigators’ report was completed in April 2021. The cause hasn’t been publicly revealed, but the partial building collapse took place when freshly poured concrete on the fourth floor suddenly fell, crushing workers below.
