Geometric wall patterns fall into the category of maximalism. These patterns can be super stylish and cute, though they were more popular decades ago than they are now. Adding geometric patterns to an accent wall is not a bad idea, especially if these patterns are in in-style colors like mustard, warm white, dusty emerald, bright blue, and cherry red.

Be careful about overdoing the patterns. You don’t want buyers to feel overwhelmed when they step into the room. The prospect of repainting or, God forbid, scraping off wallpaper could scare off people who would otherwise like the space you’re showing them.
