VictorianPlumbing.com gave their advice on bathroom tile colors, and brightly-colored tiles didn’t make the list. Victorian advised neutral shades like light grey, cream, and white, as they help make the bathroom look “clean” and “calm.” If your bathroom is smaller, these light, benign shades will help it look larger.

Brightly colored bathroom tiles can make a small bathroom look cluttered. Even a large bathroom won’t benefit, as it’ll look loud. If someone wants to have a relaxing soak in the tub, a room full of cherry red tiles won’t exactly add to that spa appeal. Spa bathrooms add value, and brightly-colored tiles just do not fit with that aesthetic.
