Whenever there is an historical winning streak in any sport, the world will have to wait a few years before they can feel comfortable celebrating. For that, they can thank Lance Armstrong. Armstrong dominated cycling on a world stage for years. His seven Tour de France wins was the most by anyone in the sport. Most fans rode that high right along with him from his last win in 2005 until the news of his doping broke. In 2012, Armstrong was stripped of all seven Tour de France titles, but at least his fans had a nice stretch of thinking he was not a cheating prick.
