The show went on for eight seasons, all airing on ABC. Starring John Ritter, Joyce DeWitt, and Suzanne Somers as the three roommates. All went well until Somers discovered she was getting paid pennies compared to her male costar and attempted to renegotiate her contract, only to get fired and written off the show prematurely.
