Ninoy Aquino has often gotten some bad press, with the Manila Standard saying it wasn’t just the “world’s worst airport,” but also the “most dangerous.” The airport has a huge problem with passenger bags and passports being stolen as they go through the X-ray machines. There have also been a few false detentions of passengers who had bullets planted in their bags, according to The Manila Standard.
