The Active Times listed this as one of the world’s “worst airports.” Though Santorini, Greece is one of the most beautiful vacation destinations in the world (as is all of Greece), the airport leaves a lot to be desired.

First, it can only handle six flights at a time, and delays and backlogs can cause things to get even more annoying. The airport has lots of lines and people waiting in the heat. There’s no air conditioning, and the rooms are very small, which can lead to heat exhaustion, as it’s not exactly cool and crisp in Santorini.
