Though he is not a player, Ted Lasso is the fictional coach everyone wants for their team. The man has little to no knowledge of the sport he is coaching. Still, he knows how to keep a positive attitude when the chips are down and how to come together as a team. Not only do the most curmudgeonly players eventually come around on, but the owner who hired him as a punchline because she wanted to tick off her ex eventually becomes one of his closest allies. The world needs more Ted Lassos. Who cares what type of coach he is? Football coach? Life coach? Everyone knows his can-do attitude will help any player rise to the occasion.
