How cool would it be if there still was a professional women’s baseball team? It is entreaty possible that they would be a bigger draw than MLB. If only this idea did not get tossed to the wayside after World War II. The movie A League of Their Own should have sparked this such a league back in the 90s shortly after its release. Even today’s world could use a Dottie Hinson behind the plate. Though Dottie saw her duty only as a wife and dairy employee while her husband was off to war, she realizes what an asset she is to a team that truly needs her. As for playing a professional sport while wearing a skirt? If a professional women’s league ever does come to pass, all the gals likely playing will veto that idea.
