The Atlanta Falcons quarterback, Michael Vick, was released from jail after serving time in prison for organizing a dogfighting operation. Vick pleaded guilty in 2007 to being involved in an interstate dogfighting ring that included killing dogs that didn’t perform well. He spent 21 months behind bars and paid $1 million in restitution fees.

Vick has been one of the most exciting players in football since entering the league. He has thrown for over 10,000 yards and rushed for over 3,000 yards in his career. He also has 82 rushing touchdowns, tied with Ricky Williams for most all-time by a quarterback.
