106. John Lennon
Size of Collection: 5*
Est. Total Value: $500,000*
The historic Rolls Royce that John Lennon drove is now on display to the public at the Royal BC Museum. Originally, the brightly-colored Rolls was painted a drab shade of “Valentine Black.” Lennon had it repainted to a white, red, and blue kaleidoscope of patterns after the car was delivered to him in June of 1965.
The Beatles star’s Rolls Royce came with features that were considered, at the time, to be something out of the space age. The Phantom V Touring Limousine came with a record player, electric telephone, and an eight-track tape audio system. Lennon also owned a Ferrari, Radford Mini, and several Mercedes Benzes.
