The 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, painted jet-black, went up for auction in the early spring of 2021. The hammer came down, and the K.I.T.T. sold for $300,000 to one Knight Rider superfan. Surprisingly, the Trans Am sold for much lower than auctioneers originally anticipated when they put it on the block.
